Just about any time you walk in the door at Christ Church, you can expect to find a true community; people who are genuinely happy to meet and get to know each other.

You will find this to be true whether you join us at a concert and art show, an Alpha Parking Lot Party, or a Sunday worship service.  It is our hope that you will feel comfortable here whether you’ve been in church for 10 minutes or 10 years.

Below is a snapshot of what you can expect to experience on a Sunday.  To learn more about our vision, CLICK HERE.

Sunday Services

That main thing that is helpful to know about our Sunday Services is that we have two congregations!

  • One meets in a church building in the heart of Overland Park.  If you attend on a Sunday morning, you’ll see that we have three services in this location: a traditional 8:30am service in the Nave (on the east end of the building), a contemporary service at 9am in our Disciples’ Center (a multi-purpose room found on the west end of the building), and a contemporary service at 10:45am in the Nave (on the east end of the building).  Learn more about our Overland Park congregation HERE.
  • Beginning on December 17, 2017, our other congregation will meet The Mission Theatre in the heart of Mission.  Having only one service at this location, there is ample time for conversation before the service.  The worship service begins at 9:30am, followed by ample time to hang out in our Café afterward.  When you arrive, simply follow the signs to the north side of the building. Get Connected

Because we are a multi-congregational church, it’s hard to pin point “one way” to get connected.  Each congregation has a lot of great things going on at any given time.

A great way to get started would be to contact either, our Lead Pastor in Mission, Dean Behrens, or our Missional Outreach Director in Overland Park, Michael Carter.  Both would love to meet you, get to know you, and help you find the right place to get connected.

After that, we’d love for you take a few minutes to get to know either our Overland Park Congregation or our Mission Congregation.  Each page has photos, videos, and more information about what’s going on at that specific congregation.
