Christ Church Endowment Trust

What is the Endowment Trust?

The Christ Church Endowment Trust was created to serve the church by managing the gifts and donations people bequest through their estates.

The Endowment is a separate not-for-profit entity managed by an elected Board of Trustees and governed by the trust document. The Board of Trustees include the Senior Pastor, the Second Vice Chair of the Parish Council, and five additional elected members of Christ Church.

What Does it Do?

The Trust receives gifts, manages the funds, and awards grants which provide resources for new ministries at Christ Church, special events, extraordinary maintenance, and capital needs. Funds issued from the Endowment are not to be used for routine operating expenses. To date, the Trust has awarded grants in excess of $200,000 for a variety of ministry including Rushton After-School programs, medical missions in Sudan, and renovations to the Mission storefront.

Grants are made by the Board of Trustees and in accordance with any directives made by the donor.
