Please join Christ Church Overland Park in worship at any of the following services:
March 25 – Palm Sunday
8:30, 9 & 10:45am
We celebrate and remember the story of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem where He is received as the Redeeming King. However the mood of the coming week quickly changes as we look toward the cross.
March 29 – Maundy Thursday
Maundy, from the Latin word meaning “command,” is a celebration of the Last Supper at which Jesus gave the command to love one another and also celebrated communion for the first time. This will be a time of reflection and service toward one another.
March 30 – Good Friday
Noon – Traditional Service at Christ Church Overland Park
A day focused on the cross and Jesus – the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world – this service will include choir & organ, and a time of mediating on the cross of Christ.
* With special guests, the Blue Valley Northwest Chamber Singers
7pm – “Golgotha”
Based on the classic Stations of the Cross, our friends Jesse & Leah Roberts will again guide us on a journey with Jesus to the cross. Golgotha is a collection of fourteen, scripture-based original songs that invite the mind and heart to experience the Savior’s suffering in new ways. Paired with powerful visuals, God’s Word, and guided prayer, our evening is meant to draw people nearer to Jesus.
Childcare will be available for kids 5 years old and younger.
