Whether you’re engaged, newly married, or been married for a long time, every couple needs opportunities to deepen their connection and enhance their relationship skills. Join us on Friday evening, September 27, and Saturday morning, September 28, for an event designed to help couples invest in their partner and build a relationship that is faithful, healthy, and enduring.
This event will happen at our Overland Park location and will include time on Friday night and Saturday morning with licensed marriage and family therapist Ken Howard as our keynote speaker. Along with Mr. Howard there will be specialized workshops led by experts in various fields. Spaces are limited, so be sure to register soon!
SCHEDULE
Friday, September 27 @ 5:30 pm
Our opening session begins on Friday evening at 5:30pm. We’ll enjoy drinks and appetizers while our keynote speaker, Ken Howard, sets the stage for a formational weekend together.
At 6:30pm couples will be dismissed and are encouraged to enjoy a Date Night Out. This time is meant to be intentional – a chance to reconnect and savor quality time together.
If you’re able to, consider booking a local hotel for extended, uninterrupted time together.
Saturday, September 28 from 8:30a – 12:30p
Saturday will begin with breakfast and our keynote address from Ken Howard, LMFT. Ken will share valuable insights about building healthy relationships and cultivating trust.
Following the Keynote address, you and your spouse can choose two different workshops to attend. Each workshop will be led by professional counselors, each designed to enhance various aspects of your marriage.
COST & CHILDCARE
Cost for the entire weekend is $75 per couple. This includes food, resources, and the speakers.
Couples with children are highly encouraged to arrange overnight or extended childcare to fully engage in the weekend’s activities. For those unable to arrange their own childcare, we are able to offer limited care for children (age 10 and under) for an additional cost. See registration form for details.
Registration is required.
