While every age of parenting comes with its own unique challenges, there are some strategies that help us provide “Skillful Parenting for Every Age.” We want to invite parents to join us for our next Learning Lab on Saturday, October 11 at 9am at our Overland Park location.

Joining us as our guest speaker will be licensed Family Therapist, Jamie Roach. Jamie serves as the Senior Director of Family Ministries at Youthfront’s presence centered counseling center.

During our time together, Jamie will help parents learn new strategies to calm, connect, and coach as they guide their families though daily parenting situations. We will also host a “parenting panel” of our Family Life Ministry team to answer your real-life questions about common parenting challenges at various ages.

JAMIE ROACH
Jamie serves as the Senior Director of Family Ministries at Youthfront’s presence centered counseling center. He received his Master’s of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary and his Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Mid America Nazarene University. He works from psychodynamic and experiential theories and from the perspective that humans are relational beings. Jamie’s experience working with youth and families has taught him that within the careful presence of a loving other, one’s true self begins to emerge. In addition to his professional career, Jamie and his wife, Lea Ann, have raised four children.
