making disciples who make disciples for Jesus Christ

Our Work

We believe the only way to experience fullness of life is through discipleship to Jesus.  And Jesus, because of his last words, calls his disciples to go and help the rest of the world experience this life as a result of following him.

So what does the life of a disciple look like?  Of course, this is not an exhaustive list, but at the most basic level, the life of a disciple looks like this:

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers
were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone
who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes
and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
– Acts 2:42-47

DEVOTED LIFE

DEVOTED LIFE

A disciple lives a devoted life through their personal and corporate worship.

SHARED LIFE

SHARED LIFE

A disciple lives a shared life by meeting with others regularly to share a meal, study God’s Word, and support one another through prayer. The best way to do that at Christ Church is by joining a Life Group.

SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE

SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE

A disciple lives a Spirit-filled life by regularly asking to be filled with the Holy Spirit and receiving His power to boldly proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.

GENEROUS LIFE

GENEROUS LIFE

A disciple lives a generous life – with their time, abilities, & resources – by giving themselves away for the sake of others.
